Today, we're featuring a French website for Sport Shoe Shop, you can view the site at http://www.shoesaddict.fr/. The design is all flash-based, but the idea is simple. It takes on the doodle-scribble web design craze that's been going on lately.
Black and darker colors are definitely the in thing nowadays. This website has got a dark grayish background, which of course helps in making the doodle-inspired graphics stand out. You may also notice that its graphic elements are colored brightly.
Blue, yellow, pink are the predominant colors here. The white colored graphics help neutralize the boldness of these colors though.
Doodled clouds are hot! The web design also incorporating the "peeping graphic design style". I call it peeping since you can see a lot elements peeping out from behind the graphic elements. Such as the one you can see in the video player below.
Peeping stars, a skull and other random doodles help emphasize the main graphic. And since the site is flash, the peeping style are also animated.
